Absolutely outstanding! My kids have been under the mentorship of Master G at his martial arts studio for almost 2 years, and it’s been an incredible journey. Not only is he an expert in martial arts, but he also goes above and beyond as a mentor and role model. Master G instills invaluable life skills and values in his students, teaching them not only self-defense but also the importance of discipline, respect, and standing up for oneself. Very inclusive and supportive instructors that help build self-confidence. My 7yo was getting bullied at school and at the recommendation of a friend we signed up both my girls (7 and 3) at Barron’s. We’ve been coming for 5 months, three times a week and my girls love it and look forward to class.
We came across Barron Academy based on a friend’s recommendation and now my son has completed his second year under Master G and his team. My son’s confidence has grown, along with his goal setting mindset (e.g. working hard to get that stripe, to test for the next belt, etc). He’s excited to go to class and looks up to Master G and his team. We love Master G’s style – he teaches discipline, respect, confidence, and life lessons while having fun and making it relatable for young kids. Simply the best.
Family-style academy that focuses on discipline and training. My three sons have attended Barron Academy since 2016. We were drawn to the rigor and discipline of Barron Academy and the emphasis on constant individual improvement. Everyone here earns their belts and their ranks and there’s a strong sense of personal responsibility, especially in the Red Belts class. There’s also a lot of fun tournaments and scrimmages both locally and to other parts of the state as the kids advance. All in all a great gem and a real value when it comes to price for what you get.
